Karting Benelux Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on Karting Benelux. It also describes connections to external services that may use their own cookies or other storage. Please also read our Privacy Policy for information about personal-data processing.
1. Controller and scope
Karting Benelux is operated by Crauwels Arne, trading as Lespa Software Solutions, Kerkhofstraat 27, 2845 Niel, Belgium, enterprise number 0684.706.469 and VAT number BE 0684.706.469. Contact us at info@kartingbenelux.com or +32 (0)456 06 57 38.
This policy covers https://www.kartingbenelux.com and web features served from that domain. Any external site opened through a link, payment page, map or embedded service applies its own policy.
This policy also covers website pages opened inside the Karting Benelux app. The App Privacy Policy explains the native tools, local app storage, sharing and deletion controls.
3. Karting Benelux cookies and local storage
This inventory describes storage used by the site. Not every item is present for every visitor. Names are public; cookie and session values are never displayed.
The “Necessary” category includes session and choice storage and functional administration storage following use of the relevant feature. Security limits use server files based on hashed network and account characteristics, not an additional browser cookie.
Native app storage: the app stores its language, stopwatch state/laps, reaction record and older race-note archive separately from website cookies. This functional device storage is not uploaded by the app or controlled by the website statistics switch. The current Android build disables automatic app backup. See the App Privacy Policy.
4. External services and possible storage
- Google reCAPTCHA: loads automatically beside protected forms if you enable “Load reCAPTCHA automatically”. When this option is off, a button lets you activate the check beside the form. Google receives technical data for abuse detection and may set
_GRECAPTCHAon its domain and service path (up to 6 months). Existing Google cookies may also be transmitted when using Google. Google manages this storage; see its cookie policy and privacy policy. This check is required to submit the protected form. - Plausible Analytics: only with statistics consent, never on pages configured as sensitive. Receives the page URL, referral and technical connection data and provides aggregate statistics. Plausible uses no cookies, local storage or persistent browser ID; it temporarily processes IP address and browser details to calculate daily statistics. See the Plausible data policy.
- Our own ads: remain visible when you refuse statistics. Only with consent do we measure views and clicks, including ad ID, language, referral, browser and hashed IP address. No measurement cookie is set. See our Privacy Policy.
- OpenStreetMap and Cloudflare CDNJS: the map page requests OpenStreetMap tiles and loads the Leaflet map library through CDNJS. These providers receive technical connection data. Nominatim converts city and country or public locations to coordinates on the server. See the OSMF policy and Cloudflare policy. The cookie settings themselves load only local files.
- Google Fonts: supplies fonts and receives your IP address and technical request data; this connection is not consent to statistics or advertising.
- Mollie: when an offered payment function is opened, the external payment page may use its own security, session and fraud-prevention storage. See the Mollie privacy policy. Public Silver and Gold purchases are not yet open.
- External links and social media: the destination receives data when you open its link and determines its own cookies. We do not load social tracking buttons.
OpenAI for public-source analysis and Have I Been Pwned for a password-hash prefix check run on the server and do not place a browser cookie through those checks. This popup cannot delete cookies belonging to external domains.
5. Purposes and legal basis
Necessary session, security and choice storage delivers the functions you request. Your saved choice contains its version, date, statistics selection and automatic reCAPTCHA preference; it is not used as a user identifier. Functional administration storage follows your use of a management function.
We request prior consent for optional Plausible and ad measurements even though they do not use tracking cookies. You can refuse and change your choice later. Accepting terms, creating an account or closing the popup does not activate these measurements. Necessary security processing remains separately described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Managing cookies and storage
Cookie settings The same button remains available on the page and in the footer. Choose “Necessary only” to turn both options off, or change either option and save your selection. Switching off already loaded statistics or automatically loaded reCAPTCHA reloads the page to stop the active code. The activation button then reappears beside protected forms if reCAPTCHA is off. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing.
- Your choice applies to this browser and host for 180 days. After deletion or expiry we ask again. Another browser or host has its own choice.
- If your browser blocks storage, the choice applies only to the current page and a message explains this. Without JavaScript, optional measurement code does not load; use browser settings to manage cookies.
- Browser settings let you view, block and delete cookies and local storage. Blocking
PHPSESSIDmay disrupt login, language and forms. - The old
cookieconsent_statusandstylecookies are removed and no longer read for preferences. - Newsletter preferences are separate and managed in your account or through the unsubscribe link. These settings do not change storage on external websites.

Inside the app: manage website consent through the cookie settings in the embedded browser. Its cookies and choices can differ from your ordinary browser. More → Clear local race data resets the older race notes, stopwatch and reaction records, while preserving language, website cookies and the website account. The App Privacy Policy gives the full instructions.
